Senior Pastor Derek Watson
Pastor Derek and Maggie opened the doors of Suwanee Station Family Life Church in November of 2009. Our motto "a church where love abounds" was birthed from their honest desire to be an extension of the arms of Jesus to our community. They have accomplished this through the many ministries of the church, but also in great part simply by the love they continue to pour out on all those around them. They have been a place of refuge for many.
You will never meet anyone like them! Maggie's father, Pastor John Cameron, always said, "You'll feel better for coming, and you'll never be the same again!" ...and the church has taken that saying to heart. You will always walk out of the church doors with a better understanding of the goodness of God and a sweeter love for the people in it.
Pastor Derek and Maggie have two lovely daughters, Melissa and Bonnie. Melissa is married to our Worship Leader and Associate Pastor John Newlands, and they have two children, Elizabeth and Liam. Bonnie is married to our Associate Pastor Zack Cole, and they have two sons, Cade and Knox.
